Quality Guidelines

Content Quality Rules and Guidelines

These Quality Guidelines describe the requirements for game pages on the Ouzox platform. Following these recommendations will guarantee a consistent and satisfying user experience, increase discoverability, and raise the standard of the Ouzox marketplace.

On Publish

Ready to be played

As you publish your game, the game should be ready to be played and thoroughly tested through. Avoid publishing your games too early and before it's ready to be played.

Your game page gets one chance on the 'Fresh Games' tab on the front page when it's new to the platform. Updates will only take you so far.

Thumbnail

Your thumbnails will be corrupted depending on the aspect ratio of the images. The appropriate ratio should be 315:250 at the minimum

Reuploading

We allow developers to update games, so there is no need to re-upload.

Repeated uploads of the same game can clutter the platform, making it harder for players to find specific games. This can hurt both new developers by decreasing their visibility and search ranking.

If you are found reuploading games, your account and games will be deleted.

Accurate Information

Information

How you present your game is how your game will appear and be categorized on the platform.

Avoid adding irrelevant information to your game. If your game does not fit in to the correct categories, we may identify your page as spam and remove it.

Anything you upload to our platform confirms that you have clear permission to use this content, and you are allowed to promote, sell, or upload the work to our platform for yourself and anybody else permitted to use it. This includes but is not limited to, both games and images

Stealing or miscrediting work or using material without permission is not tolerated on our platform. This includes the unauthorized use of copyrighted or trademarked content or other intellectual property.

If your page is found using content that you have no permission over, your page will be removed from the platform.

Age Ratings

Your games should be labeled correctly, especially for age ratings. Any games that are not appropriately labeled will be removed from the platform.

Additionally, avoid using explicit images as your cover images.

Read the Content Policy to find out what age rating your game can be.

Platforms and Features

Your games should correctly label what platforms your games can be played on and the listed features it has to offer. Any games that are not labeled correctly will be set private.

Reporting

If you see a game not abiding by these guidelines, you can report them here.
