Content Rules

Age Ratings

Ouzox tries to allow many games on the platform. To this end, we allowed game developers to add age ratings to their games to warn their users about the type of content they would experience.

• Everyone (E): Games suitable for all ages.

• Teen (T): Games suitable for ages 13 and up

• Mature (M): Games suitable for ages 17 and up

Games rated Everyone should NOT contain anything in this document unless said otherwise.

Games rated Teen can display infrequent, mild, or occasional content that is listed below. Anything too strong, frequent, or has a high occurrence will be rated Mature.

Games rated Mature can contain all of the content listed below other than the restricted content as frequently and as strongly as they want.

Violent Content and Gore

Violent content and gore include, but are not limited to:

• Animal abuse and torture

• Real-world depictions of extreme gore, graphic violence, or death

• The depiction, support, or glorification of war crimes or human rights violations, including torture

• The depiction, support, or glorification of real-world mass shootings and/or terrorism

Any violence and gore that is mild or infrequent can qualify your games for a Teen rating. If your game has more intense or frequent gore and violence, it cannot be a Teen rating and has to be rated Mature.

Romantic and Sexual Content

Romantic and Sexual Content include, but are not limited to:

• Romantic or flirtatious gestures or communication between users in a romantic context

• Pursuing or soliciting romantic relationships online

• Engaging in unwanted flirtatious behavior

• Engaging in sexually explicit conversations

• Content that depicts, strongly suggests, or explicitly describes sexual acts

• Nudity

• Sexually suggestive themes

Brief or infrequent romantic themes or suggestive content can fall within the Teen rating. More explicit or frequent content would be Mature.

Alcohol

This should be self-explanatory. This topic also includes:

• Illegal and regulated drugs, including marijuana and the misuse of prescription or over-the-counter drugs, and the depiction of intoxication as a result of these substances

• Drug, tobacco, vaping, or other smoking paraphernalia

• Dietary supplements and enhancers such as weight loss pills and steroids

Occasional depictions of alcohol use, especially if it's not the focus, can be Teen-rated. If alcohol use was encouraged, excessive, or the focus, it is Mature.

Strong Language

Strong language includes, but is not limited to:

• Slurs or hate speech

• Strong Language used in a sexual context

Infrequent use of strong language is acceptable for a Teen rating. More frequent or intense language would push it to Mature.

Restricted Content

Any restricted content on the platform will be removed.

Restricted content includes, but is not limited to:

• Illegal content such as child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual sexual content, promoting illegal activities, etc.

• Hate speech and discrimination against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, etc.

• Malicious and harmful software.

• Copyright and intellectual property infringement.

• Misleading or false information.
